How long has art.BeOriginal been in business?
art.BeOriginal is a new startup as far as the website is concerned, however BeOriginal has been in the printing and custom design and art work business since 1986. See more about us at BeOriginal.com
Does art.BeOriginal ship worldwide?
Not yet. Hopefully by the end of the year.
Do you offer wholesale prices?
No. We do not offer wholesale prices.
Do you offer free shipping?
Sometimes we run free shipping promotions.
Can I place my order over the phone?
No. All orders must be placed online.
What happens if my order is damaged during shipment?
We replace it! We do our absolute best to package your order so that it arrives in perfect condition. Unfortunately, we can't control the UPS / FedEx deliveries. If your order arrives damaged, simply contact us using the form on the following page, and we'll get a replacement order into production ASAP:

Put “Shipping Problem” in the subject line. I'm buying a gift. Will the purchase price appear on the invoice with my order? We do NOT include any dollar amounts on the invoice that will be included with your purchase. That information is included in the email confirmation.
When will my order ship?
Prints ship within 3 - 4 business days after you place your order. Everything at art.BeOriginal is printed and manufactured "on demand". We don't have any pre-made products. Some items that are custom created will take up to 4 weeks to ship. See the details on the artist page you are ordering from.
Do you use archival inks and acid-free papers?
Yes. All of our inks are archival, and all of our papers are acid free.
I want to download or license an image that I found on this site. How do I do that?
You have to contact the artist directly. Beneath each artwork or epub is a link to the creators email or site and you can e-mail the artist directly.
How do I change my login e-mail address?
After you login to your account, click on the "Contact Information" icon, and you can change your e-mail address right there.
Can I include a gift message with my purchase?
Sure. Email us your message when you get your confirmation email, along with the confirmation number and we would be happy to add a special message to your order. http://art.BeOriginal.com/contact

Our return policy on printed artwork is very simple:
If you're not happy with a purchase that you made on art.BeOriginal.com, for any reason, you can return it to us within 30 days of the order date. As soon as it arrives, we'll issue a full refund for the entire purchase price. Please note - art.BeOriginal does not reimburse the outgoing or return shipping charges unless the return is due to a defect in quality. If the item you ordered is custom commissioned piece of artwork, there is NO return unless the item arrived broken.

art.BeOriginal has production facilities in Georgia (US).
Where is my order?
As soon as your order ships, we'll send you an e-mail confirmation with a tracking number included in the e-mail. We send the e-mail to the e-mail address that you provided when you placed your order.
I have a discount / coupon code. Why isn't it working?
Our website has many creators. Each of them can issue discount codes for their personal creation. When a member creates a discount code, that discount code only applies to that member's artwork. It can't be used to purchase work from any other creator.
If you did a Google search for "art.BeOriginal discount codes" or something similar, then you may find a discount code that was issued by one of our creators. Any valid discount code issued by art.BeOriginal for site-wide discount always starts with “art”. The code that you found can only be used to purchase prints from the member who created the code.
I forgot my password. How do I get a new one?
Just go to your login page, and click the link that says "Forgot Password?" You will receive an email with instruction on how to reset your password.
How do I close my account?
All you have to do is login to your account, click on the link that says "Close Account”. REMEMBER if you do that ALL information and downloads associated with your account WILL also be DELETED.
Why is my credit card being declined?
Unfortunately, when a credit card gets declined, the only information that we receive back from our credit card processor is the word "DECLINED". A credit card could be declined for any number of reasons, and we have no control over that process
What's the difference between a glossy canvas and a matte canvas?
The only different is in the "shine" of the canvas. Glossy prints have a glossy coating applied to them which causes the canvas to reflect light better. Matte prints do not have this coating.
How long for shipping?
We ship all of our products via UPS, FedEx, or USPS depending on the destination. All products ship from the United States. Framed prints, canvas prints, regular prints. The transit time will depend on your location.
What kind of printer do you use?
To ensure unrivaled precision, we use the latest generation in the Epson series of printers, the Stylus Pro® 9900. Coupled with Epson UltraChrome® HDR 11-color ink, our printer is able to produce the widest color gamut ever of any printer in its line. This means that we are able to stay as true as printably possible to your works original colors.
What does the term “limited edition” mean anyways?
Limited edition simply means that only a set number of prints of a particular piece of artwork are going to be sold. In our contract, art.BeOriginal makes an agreement with our artists to sell a set number of each sized print and to close the sale when the prints sell out. To guarantee the value of the print, a closed sale remains closed forever.
Why are art.BeOriginal prints stamped with a Certificate of Authenticity?
The art.BeOriginal stamp is an imprint of our logo into the matting of the print. This discrete impression is our way of certifying that the print sold is indeed an authentic print from art.BeOriginal. As another measure of guaranteeing authenticity, art.BeOriginal sends a certificate with every print which lets the buyer know the number of their print in the limited edition series. This ensures the buyer the originality and rarity of their purchase.
Do you use a UV protectant to protect your prints?
All canvas prints, framed prints, and regular prints (rolled in a tube) receive a UV protective coating.
Can I pay with a purchase order?
Sorry, all orders must be paid for using a credit card or Paypal.

Can I hang my prints outside?
Yes - you can hang your prints outside. However - do not hang them anywhere where they will be exposed to direct rain. And they will not last as long, due to all our materials used are subject to moisture
Can I hang my prints in a bathroom?
Yes - you can hang your prints in a bathroom. Just make sure that they're not exposed to direct spray from the shower or heavy moisture. Over time this may effect the work. Canvas prints will work fine in a bathroom. Just make sure that you're not exposing them to prolonged periods of high moisture from long, hot showers.
